Just one more... These blogs are fantastic as is the furniture. You are making me laugh so it's hard not to comment. Talking about cookies makes me want to make the deep fried truffle recipe I found on the net last week... Nothing healthy there!

Well, I have a huge sweet tooth so that explains that well enough for me.

Funny thing is that I love chocolate but the idea of putting Nutella Chocolate spread on toast just doesn't work for me.

Hmmm....

Hum, the wonderful world of toast. If it's Murphy's law toast always lands butter side down, and cats always land feet down...what happens if you put buttered toast on the back of a falling cat? Nonsense I say.

But I do know why toast is better then bread. Not because I'm a chemist but because a nutritionist explained it to me. When you toast the bread some magical chemical reaction happens (or elves get in the toaster and do something) and it makes the bread sweeter then if it were untoasted. Thus those of us with a sweet tooth think toasted is better. Question solved! Or not :)

Sometimes it's not a bad thing for fads to leave us behind. I can't explain the nook. I'll choose to simply lump it into an increasingly large collection of things I can't explain. One positive thing about that collection though - it almost always makes me laugh.

Thanks Brian.

I find it to be a design that reminds me of different things depending on when and from what direction I look at it. Sometimes it seems like a bird, sometimes a sickle, sometimes a dinosaur. Oh, and sometimes it just looks like a lantern on a long curvy stick.

Joe,

Remember the best chocolate on this earth?? Yes, I'm referring to the pounds and pounds of Milka candy bars we bought in Germany... yum, but of course that translated into pounds elsewhere! Take care Bud!
